About The Pagoda
STUCK IN A PAGODA WITH MOTOKO AOYAMA is a musical commentary blog devoted primarily to Japanese pop music and Western punk rock and alternative music. Its original mission is to disseminate information, reviews, and commentary on Japanese pop artists on equal footing with their Western counterparts.
Part of STUCK IN A PAGODA’s mission as of 2008 is to cause and promote a wider legal availability of Japanese pop and rock acts to Western and European music fans by way of a grass roots campaign to obtain live and retail access of these acts to the general public at large.
