And apparently, according to wiki, it was in 1972, during a 15 day singing residency at the onsen/hot spa town of Okuhida when Tetsuya first wrote the song, and in the same year released it on a self-promoted limited vinyl run of 2000 copies. nice story there. incidentally, the song is okuhida bojyo, not bakujyo.
