@Gag: Thanks for the info, re: the piece JunJun plays.

A plug-in built into Wordpress software mistook your first attempt at a comment (which I've restored) for spam. If there's more than one link in a comment, it'll think its spam - you should see some of the shit "people" have attempted to post in comments here that the plug-in has automatically caught. Sorry about that though - the plug-in doesn't know the difference sometimes between legitimate links like the Wikipedia and BBC Radio and the porn and Viagra spam it's supposed to keep out.

According to comments on the YouTube page, Junjun is playing a piece called 'Mariage d'amour'. A little googling shows that this was composed by French pianist Richard Clayderman, whose music is apparently very popular with Chinese piano students.

(My comment failed to post the first time, so I'm trying again without putting in any links.)

According to comments on the YouTube video, Junjun is playing a piece called "Mariage d'amour". Googling the name reveals that it was composed by Richard Clayderman, a French pianist whose music is very popular in China.

According to a radio programme I heard recently, thirty million Chinese children are learning to play the piano.
