Deja Vu, W style
She’s back… again.

I really shouldn’t hold my hopes up too much, considering that happened last year about this time, but Ai Kago has given her first interview in two years to the Japanese online magazine OhMyNews, which is going to be posted in six parts over the course of this week. Hello!Online has the translation of the first part here, and Nikkan Sports also reports that Aibon is looking to return to showbiz as an actress.
I don’t know what kind of questions were asked of Aibon in this interview that haven’t been seen yet (as of the time of this blog post’s writing around 10 PM EST on 4.6.08), but I have a few that I’ve been meaning to ask her for the past couple of years:
- Where have you been for the past year?
- Are you still in touch with Nozomi Tsuji?
- Do you feel guilty that the master tape of the third W album W3: Faithful has pretty much gone the way of the original version of Smile?
- Why the fuck would you even look at a cigarette, let alone smoke the goddamn things?
- Speaking of smoking - and singing - is the reason you’re going into full-time acting because you fucked up your singing voice from two years of smoking?
OK, so as much as I love Aibon, I’m pissed off at her. We all should be waiting for the fifth W album at this point - we all acklowledge that. Shit happens. Hopefully, the answers Aibon gives in the rest of the interview, and her subsequent actions over the next year or so, will not have me thinking of the chorus of a certain Seether song.
